Dec. 20 Kabbalat Shabbat service will be Zoom only

Join our Little Shul by the River as we delve deeply into the High Holidays, offering multi-access and in-person family services. Rooted in ancient and modern prayer, with inspiring melodies, we gather to uplift each other with hope and empowered participation.

Daily Elul Zoom Check-In.

Elul is the month before Rosh Hashanah, a time to reflect on this past year and prepare for the High Holidays. The themes of Elul are self-reflection, forgiveness and divine closeness. We work on the process of teshuva, of returning to our souls, and doing the inner work of repairing and deepening our relationship with ourselves, others and with the Divine. Each day (except Shabbat) at 9 am from September 4 – October 1, we  will come together on Zoom for about 15 minutes for our Elul check-ins, which will include a short teaching/meditation, singing part of the 27th Psalm and the blowing of the shofar. Betsy Stern will lead and coordinate; if you're interested in leading a topic, contact her at betsystern3@gmail.com .
