Rabbi Diana Miller brings enthusiasm, compassion, dynamic  intellect, and spirituality to KHN, where services are filled with joyful melodies.

Rabbi Diana was ordained by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2011, with a focus on chaplaincy in hospital settings and senior centers. Additionally, during rabbinical school she served as Rabbinic Intern at Temple Beth El in Bennington, VT and as Interim Hillel director for a semester at Ursinus College.

Rabbi Diana holds a BA with honors from Barnard College and an MSW from the Hunter College School of Social Work. A Jivamukti-certified yoga teacher and meditation instructor, she taught in yoga studios,  senior centers, and in supported- housing environments for those living with HIV and mental illness.  Additionally, she taught yoga to rabbis with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. She served as the co-president of her local interfaith council and spent over three years living and studying in Jerusalem.

August 2020 marked the beginning of Rabbi Diana Miller's tenth year at Kehilat HaNahar. She spent the summer of 2018 on sabbatical, taking an in-depth course on Yiddish language and culture and practicing Iyengar yoga. Rabbi Diana lives in Lambertville, NJ with her husband Dr. Scott Abrams. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming in the Hopewell Quarry, and exploring her old stomping grounds of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
